Mini-Grant Application Guidelines
The Rotary Club of Chestertown will consider requests by non-profit organizations and other eligible organizations on an annual basis. In granting any funds, the Rotary Club is guided by the Rotary International Mission Statement:
The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Eligibility:
The funds will be granted only to organizations based in our Rotary membership area for the purpose of benefitting the local community.
The funds will not be granted to individuals, religion-based organizations promoting a particular ideology, fraternal organizations, political organizations, endowments or multi-year pledges, fundraising efforts to benefit other organizations or organizations that discriminate based on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
Charitable Contribution Criteria:
Donations to organizations or groups for a particular project, event, or program will be considered if they support one of Rotary International’s Six Areas of Focus:

Promoting peace

Fighting disease

Providing clean water

Saving mothers and children
-
Supporting education
-
Growing local economies
-
Supporting the environment

Guidelines:

Provide a description of your organization and mission

Please describe:

Impact statement – A vision for the ultimate benefit that could be realized from the project;

Priorities – This explains your rationale for doing the project and why it is important to do;

Outcomes – describe specifically how you would measure the results of the program, that is, the number of individuals served and how those individuals would be impacted by the program;

How will the funds be spent?

Is this a new or ongoing project?

Please note that Rotarians like to be involved in our community service projects where possible. Describe opportunities afforded by your project.

Grants of $500 to $2000 will be awarded.

Grant projects should be completed by June 15, 2025.
Program Review:
The Chestertown Rotary Club expects that all grant recipients will provide both an interim report by February 28, 2025, and a final report by June 30, 2025.
